The laces are just for show and they function more as zip up boots. A little big and can tend to feel like clown shoes but they are SO cute and I love wearing them! They look more like sneaker boots rather than heels. They do give extra height but I love the concept of the bunny plush on the side.. you will get compliments and stares in public from wearing this.
